Stephanie Longo, “technique guru”, is originally from Virginia Beach. She began her dance training under the famous Melissa Moore and Russian Ballet master and choreographer Andrei Yemelianov. She continued her dance studies in New York City at the Juilliard School of the Arts, Joffrey Ballet School and the American Ballet Theater, learning from the most prestigious choreographers and dance instructors. She also competed internationally representing the USA at the Youth American Grand Prix. Shortly after, Mrs. Stephanie moved to Nashville after receiving a contract with the Nashville Ballet’s company working professionally under director Paul Vasterling. Stephanie is now part of the NFL All Star Squad and is a former NFL Tennessee Titans cheerleader. She has danced professionally with Disney, DreamWorks, has staged national award shows, music videos, coached many stars, choreographed award winning productions, taught a series of master classes in East China and is judging dance competitions internationally. She is also honored to partner with the Pennyroyal Fine Arts council and directs a full length children’s nutcracker every winter. She has made her mark working as a prestigious dance coach for elite dance studios all over the south. She mentors, shapes and transforms our future generation of dancers. She has taken on a role of helping studios revamp, recreate and amplify their dance competition programs. She has settled down in Austin, Texas and is now the assistant director for the Dance Institute’s pre professional company. Stephanie loves sharing her knowledge and passion for dance!
